1. Agreement
By using Kosmo Research services, including consulting, participant recruitment, AI evaluation, and our AI Interviewer platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Kosmo Research.
2. Definitions
- "Service": Kosmo Research consulting, participant recruitment, AI evaluation, and AI Interviewer services
- "Client": A person or company that uses, buys, or pilots our services, including Researchers
- "Researcher": A user who creates interview campaigns on our platform
- "Participant": A person who takes part in a study, including members of our research panel
- "Evaluator": A panel member who reviews Client Materials as part of an AI evaluation project
- "Client Materials": Model outputs, prompts, datasets, documents, or any other content a Client provides to us
- "Content": Any data, questions, responses, transcripts, or materials uploaded or generated

Participant Recruitment

- Human review, rating, and feedback on AI model outputs by verified Evaluators
- Pilot projects, where offered
AI Interviewer
- AI-powered interview tool via WhatsApp and web
- Voice message transcription
- Automated summaries and analysis
- Campaign management and data export
4. Consulting Terms
- Projects begin after payment confirmation
- Scope and deliverables defined before project starts
- Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees
- Revisions included as specified per package
- Refund available if we fail to deliver agreed scope
- Client owns all research deliverables upon payment
5. Participant Recruitment Terms
How it works
- Target audience, numbers, screening criteria, and timelines are agreed before recruitment starts
- Participants are recruited from our verified panel and screened against your criteria
- Fees apply to participants who pass screening, as set out in your proposal
- We share Participant contact details with you only where the Participant has agreed to this for your study
You (the Client) agree to
- Use Participant data only for the study it was shared for
- Not contact Participants outside the agreed study, or add them to your own lists, without their consent
- Tell Participants how their data will be used and collect any additional consent your study requires
- Handle Participant data in line with applicable data protection laws and delete it when no longer needed
- Respond to Participant data requests relating to data you hold
6. AI Evaluation Terms
Ownership
- You own all Client Materials you send us
- You own the evaluation results we produce for you, such as ratings, labels, annotations, and reports
Confidentiality
- We treat Client Materials and evaluation results as confidential
- Access is limited to Kosmo Research and the Evaluators assigned to your project
- Evaluators are bound by confidentiality obligations under our Panel Member Terms, and can be asked to accept a project-specific confidentiality agreement on request
- We do not disclose your materials, results, or the fact that you are a client to anyone without your permission, unless required by law
No reuse
- We use Client Materials and evaluation results only to deliver your project
- We do not use them for other clients' projects, marketing, benchmarks, or training AI models
Storage and retention
- Client Materials are stored on the systems listed in our Privacy Policy, with access restricted to your project
- We delete Client Materials within 30 days of project completion, or sooner on your request, unless you ask us to keep them longer or the law requires otherwise
Personal data
- Please do not include personal data in Client Materials unless we have agreed this in advance
- Where Client Materials contain personal data, we process it only to deliver your project and on your instructions, and we can sign a data processing agreement on request
You (the Client) agree that
- You have the right to share the Client Materials with us for evaluation
- The Client Materials do not break any law or infringe anyone else's rights
- You will tell us in advance if Client Materials contain harmful, explicit, or distressing content, so Evaluators can be briefed and choose whether to take part
Evaluator judgement. Evaluation results reflect the professional judgement of our Evaluators. They are not a guarantee of your model's safety, accuracy, or regulatory compliance.
7. Pilot Projects
- We may offer a free pilot on a limited number of Client Materials, as agreed with you
- These terms, including Section 6, apply in full to pilot projects from the moment you send us materials
- A pilot does not oblige you to buy further services
- Pilot results are yours to keep
8. AI Interviewer Terms
You (the Researcher) agree to
- Provide accurate account information
- Obtain proper consent from participants
- Inform participants they are interacting with AI
- Use the tool only for lawful research purposes
- Not exceed your plan's usage limits
- Keep your account credentials secure
You own
- Your research data and campaign content
- Transcripts and summaries generated from your campaigns
- The right to export and delete your data at any time
We own
- The Kosmo Research platform, software, and brand
- Aggregated, anonymised insights (not linked to you or participants)
9. Participant Consent
When using the AI Interviewer, you are responsible for:
- Informing participants about the research purpose
- Collecting appropriate consent for your specific research
- Ensuring your research complies with applicable laws
- Responding to participant data requests
Our platform collects basic consent before interviews begin, but additional consent may be required depending on your research.
10. Payments
Consulting
- Payment via Fiverr, PayPal, or direct invoice
- 50% deposit may be required for large projects
- Final payment due upon delivery
Participant Recruitment and AI Evaluation
- Fees and payment terms as set out in your proposal
- Payment via PayPal or direct invoice
AI Interviewer
- Payment via PayPal
- Subscription fees billed monthly or annually
- Interview credits do not roll over between periods
- No refunds for used interview credits
- Prices displayed exclude applicable taxes
11. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use our services for any illegal purpose
- Deceive, harass, or harm research participants
- Collect sensitive data (health, political, sexual) without proper consent
- Use Participant data for anything other than the agreed study
- Send us Client Materials you do not have the right to share
- Share your account credentials with others
- Attempt to reverse engineer our software
- Use the service to build a competing product
- Send spam or unsolicited messages
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kosmo Research, its owner, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of our services
- Your violation of these terms
- Your research activities and participant interactions
- Any content or Client Materials you create, upload, or provide
- Any third-party claims related to your research
13. AI Disclaimer
Our AI tools generate content based on your inputs and participant responses. We do not guarantee:
- Accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content
- Suitability of insights for any specific purpose
- That AI responses will be error-free
You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated outputs before making business decisions.
14. Intellectual Property
- You own: Your research data, campaign content, deliverables, Client Materials, and evaluation results
- We own: Kosmo Research brand, software, platform, and documentation
- We may use: Anonymised, aggregated service statistics, such as study volumes and completion rates, to improve our services (never linked to you or participants). This never includes Client Materials or evaluation results.
15. Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
We are NOT liable for:
- Business decisions based on research or evaluation findings
- Participant no-shows or incomplete responses
- Third-party service outages (WhatsApp, OpenAI, etc.)
- Data loss due to factors beyond our control
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
Maximum liability. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
16. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:
- Perform maintenance with or without notice
- Modify or discontinue features
- Experience outages due to third-party providers
17. Termination
You may
- Cancel your account at any time
- Request data export before cancellation
- Stop using our services
We may
- Suspend accounts that violate these terms
- Terminate accounts with 30 days notice
- Immediately terminate for serious violations
After termination, your data will be available for export for 30 days, then permanently deleted. Client Materials are deleted as set out in Section 6.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece and the European Union.

- Unresolved disputes subject to the courts of Thessaloniki, Greece
19. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email.
20. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
21. Entire Agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any proposal or agreement we sign with you, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kosmo Research. If a signed agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement applies.
